What we collect when you ask for a quote, why we hold it, how long for, and the rights you have over it.
Who we are
Signature Kitchen & Bedrooms is the data controller for personal data collected through this website. For any data request, email contact@signaturekitchenbedrooms.co.uk.
What we collect
When you ask for a quote we collect your name, email, phone number, the address of the job and whatever you tell us about the work. If you send photographs of the job, we hold those too.
We also collect standard website analytics: pages viewed, rough location, browser type. That is not tied to your name.
Why we hold it
To quote for the work, to carry it out, and to invoice for it. We keep records of completed jobs because guarantees and tax rules require it.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not turn into work: two years. Completed jobs: seven years, which is the retention period HMRC requires for business records.
Who else sees it
Our website host and our email provider, because that is how the site and the messages reach us. We do not sell your details to anyone, and we do not pass them to lead brokers.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email contact@signaturekitchenbedrooms.co.uk and we will respond within one month. If you are not satisfied you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
